You’ve got this, you truly have. Sometimes we crave support and to feel like we matter, but the truth is we do matter. Everyone matters. We are all beautifully unique and sometimes all we need to do is remember we’ve got this.
Being supported by other’s is beautiful, but sometimes we need to remember to be our own saviour because we lose our power when we are looking for support from others. Sometimes we want our prayers to be answered, but we forget we’ve got this. We can do this ourselves, we are our own best guru. We are our own best support. Our answers to our wishes are us, within us. Always within.
Yes, be supported and accept support, but if we are feeling lack it always starts from within. Sometimes we just need to recognise we’ve got this. It’s not about being strong, it’s about knowing that you’re going to be ok. You have your own back and no one can ever take that away from you. You are your own boss and in charge of your happiness. Outside circumstances can hurt and scar us but we can remember to be our own saviour. We can remember we’ve got this and literally choose to rise, to see and accept the love all around us rather than focusing on that one thing we cannot control that’s making us miserable.
So accept all of you, know you have got this and nobody can do this for you. I’m not saying don’t ask for help, because that’s a powerful and courageous thing to do but remember you’ve got this. You get to choose to believe in yourself and know you are good enough and worthy. You deserve to live a wonderfully loving and abundant life, but it starts with you believing that you deserve it and not staying down every time your hurt by someone.
It always starts with you. Love yourself enough to know you’ve got this and focus your attention on all that is good in your life. As Gabby Bernstein said, “focus on what is thriving”. Pause, get present. There is beauty all around us, but pain can stop us from seeing it. Start to see it, start noticing how you’ve got this, how you get to make the final call. Your fulfilment is an inside job. Ask yourself to see the good in all this and the answer will come. Focus on gratitude and then remember to believe in yourself. To be there for you like the world depends on it because it does, happiness spreads.
To quote the lyrics from Beyonce’s Love on Top song
“Baby, it’s you
You’re the one I love
You’re the one I need
You’re the only one I see
Come on baby it’s you
You’re the one that gives your all
You’re the one I can always call
When I need to make everything stop
Finally, you put my love on top”
Instead of making it about someone else, make those words about you. You’re the one you need. You need you, unapologetically you, with all your ‘flaws’, beauty and grace, you need you because you will always be there for you if you choose to be. You have to choose to be there for you, it’s free will so you can stay down or you can get up, it’s up to you and if you need to crawl that’s ok too. Love yourself like it’s your only job.
You’ve got this, Namaste,

I think this is the best thing you’ve written or maybe it just speaks loudly to me , so much so that I will read it daily for a while! Left by my boyfriend , ignored by his family, a promise of a job is gone and I’ve been going under but I am healthy and I have great children and family and I am believe it or not going to start my own business ! I shouldn’t focus in that one thing regardless how unjust and painful . I have more and I am more. Thank you so much Kirsty X
Oh, I’m so glad it was helpful Lydia. That’s hard, but you’ve got this. Whenever I’ve gone through something I realise after why it all had to happen and how strong it made me. How I got to do all the things I do now because of it, so just know you’ve got this. I’m so excited about you starting your own business, that’s fantastic. You absolutely do, you have so much to offer, keep rising ♥
