When I decided to move my favourites from my YouTube channel to my blog, my next post should have been my December faves.
However, I decided to miss December and go straight to what I’d want to know, the best of the best for the whole year.
I decided to choose one winner from every category. It was so hard to pick just one, but needs must in order to give you only the best.
So without further ado, here’s my 2016 favourites:
Best Makeup Item:
100% Pure Cheek & Lip Tint. I’ve put this as my favourite as I use this every single time I do my makeup. It’s natural, cruelty-free and pretty. Everything I want my makeup to be.
Best Personality:
YouTuber Niomi Smart. I watch a lot of YouTubers and have many faves, but if all of them uploaded a video at the same time she’d be the one I’d pick 1st. She’s sweet, funny and inspiring.
Best Must Watch of 2016:
Tony Robbins I’m Not Your Guru. This is the perfect combo of entertainment whilst being super inspiring. There are a few teary moments, but if you’re into personal development or have stuff from the past that you’ve struggled to move on from it’s a much watch.
Best Skincare Item:
NYR White Tea Facial Mist. A toner that you spritz on. It really hydrates and refreshes my skin. Great when I’m feeling lazy as I simply just spray to either wake myself up or use on an evening when I’m feeling tired and just want something I can just spritz before getting into bed.
It’s natural, cruelty-free and can be used over makeup. It makes my skin feel lovely and it’s quick for those of us that don’t have much time. It also contains Bach flower remedies, great for people with anxiety. I also spritz to chill myself out.
Best Book:
The Desire Map by Danielle Laporte. I won’t go on about this too much as I’m mentioned it so many times, but I use the principles every single day so I had to have it as my favourite. It’s a book for the ambitious about setting goals that truly matter. It really changes how you go about doing stuff. *I also love Rhonda Byrne book’s The Secret and The Power. I use them like my bible, although before I offend anyone I know they aren’t, but you know what I mean…I hope hehe*
Best Money Advice:
Money A Love Story by Kate Northrup. I apologise it’s another book, but money is something we all need. This book isn’t your usual money book, it’s a very spiritual way of creating a healthy relationship with your finances and it really works.
I have so much more money since reading this book. I will say one thing though if you’re not really into the law of attraction and positive thinking it’s probably not for you. It’s practical but also spiritual which might be a bit woo-woo for some. For me, it’s perfect.
Best Inspiration Source:
Lewis Howes with Lisa Nichols. Full of inspiration.
Best Food Brand:
My favourite food brand is hands down going to be Nakd. Vegan, wholesome and delicious.
Best Trend of 2016:
Minimalism. OK so this isn’t an actual item or something you can watch, but it has been one of my favourite things this year. It’s definitely my favourite trend this year hands down.
Best Household Item:
My diffuser. I couldn’t be without it. It has mood changing lights and the therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy. My home smells amazing.
Unfortunately, you can no longer buy the one I have, but there are others that do the same they just look different. Also, a close second would be the salt lamps ☺
That’s it for my ten favourites for the whole of 2016, I hope you love them all as much as I do.
